3/12/2014 - Lotus 7 is a great yoga studio, I came here after trying hot yoga. I loved hot yoga however didnít love the aftermath of it. I got headaches no matter what I did. So I was recommended to this studio by others. I figured I love yoga, its five mins from my house and I need something thatís not 24 hour fitness. Nothing against 24 hour however I am burnt out on the gym. My first two weeks cost 25 dollars for unlimited classes. I quickly fell in love with my practice at Lotus 7. The teachers are amazing and they truly care about you. They always correct you when you are not doing something right that could cause injury to your body and do not judge your practice. Teachers are always reminding you to make this your own practice, not theirs or someone elseís. After my two weeks ran out I had many different options on how to renew. I decided to go with the one month unlimited. It cost 100 dollars, which is about the going rate if not better than most studios. otherwise it is 20 dollars per class, so if you know youíre gonna go more than 5 times per month than the unlimited is the way to go. Plus if you pay for it youíre gonna go, as it is a pre-paid option. Havenít had one bad class here!!! Chelsea D (Trabuco Canyon)

1/19/2014 - I needed a place for yoga in the morning while I was in the area tutoring and stumbled upon a real gem of a yoga studio in Rancho Santa Margarita. The Vinyasa Flow class still stands out as one of the best classes I've had to date. The teacher has a calm quality that lets you feel that youríre in good hands even though you maybe doing a slightly challenging sequence of postures. Her guidance throughout the class was gentle yet she helped you if your aim was to get to a level 3 pose. Very Zen-like in the way that she conducted her class which is what I thought was refreshing. Will be back soon, hopefully once things settle and I'm living closer to this location. Effy H (Santa Ana)

10/9/2013 - I LOVE THIS YOGA STUDIO!! They have the best teachers and the Best classes. The people there are very nice too. Leslie S (Orange)

9/10/2013 - I have been practicing yoga for over 13 years in a variety of studios in Orange County. Even though yoga is meant to be a spiritual practice, in many instances it has evolved into a fitness business. That has not been my experience at Lotus 7. Over the past year, Lotus 7 has been a place where I have come for healing - of both body and spirit. The teachers are very well trained in the yoga traditions, each having special qualities to share with their students. This past year I suffered a severe back injury and worked exclusively with their Yoga Therapist, both in private sessions and in her group classes. Her amazing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and psycho-spiritual approaches to healing became my number one pathway back to health as I went through numerous medical and surgical interventions. I cannot say enough good things about the environment, the teachers, and the owner of Lotus 7. Kudos! Johe M (Rancho Santa Margarita)

9/1/2013 - I'm so impressed with this studio! It's very clean and they provide any additional props you may need. The instructors are very welcoming and knowledgeable. I especially love the guided meditation, hands-on adjustments to correct my form and the essential oils some of the instructors use. The owner Lisa is very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this yoga studio for anyone interested in new or advanced yoga practice in the area!! Allison B (Coto de Caza)

7/27/2013 - Great place to practice yoga and meet wonderful people. I especially love the new meditation group. I need to get back into my practice as I had to take a break for family reasons. Miss my Lotus 7! Exodus Z (Trabuco Canyon)

7/8/2013 - Great yoga studio regardless of experience level. The staff is so warm & welcoming and they offer a wide variety of classes spanning the day (very convenient for my shifting schedule). Classes are small with an organic feel. I always leave feeling refreshed, balanced, and strengthened. Jaclyn H (Lake Forest)

6/7/2013 - Nice, clean studio with friendly teachers and a variety of classes. The teachers are really friendly and the place is well run. I also like how they have lots of easy classes for beginners and I love how relaxing some of the restorative classes are! Natalie B (Trabuco Cyn)

4/3/2013 - I love Lotus 7 Yoga & Pilates. I am a tennis player, and yoga and Pilates are great cross training for my sport. I like all the classes and pick them based on whatever is going on with my body after playing too much tennis. Sometimes I need a restorative because my muscles are tight and other times I want a great core workout through Pilates. Keep up the great work Lisa! Jenny H (Foothill Ranch)

2/17/2013 - I bought a one month unlimited pass and I just LOVED it! It was a big splurge for me because I am a student but I really think it is worth it if you have enough free time. Lisa the owner is very sweet and GREAT at making the clients feel welcome! I have been doing yoga for almost 3 years but I have never had this great of an experience with my teachers. I love Lotus 7, they really helped me perfect my poses and expand my practice! L.B. (Lake Forest)

1/11/2013 - Whatever you're hoping to get out of Yoga, Lotus 7 in RSM will help you find it. Total yoga newbie here. I realized that my weight was getting a little ahead of where I wanted it to be, and that keeping up[ with my 2 year old was just a little bit too exhausting than it should be. I'm not big on going to the gym, and wanted to find a good workout I could maintain. I downloaded a yoga app for my iPad and started going through some of those workouts. I found a good sweat coming, rise in heartbeat, and thought this might be a good workout for me. The problem with the iPad app, or any of the videos out there, is there is no opportunity for correction. So I found myself wanting a little more, but wasn't sure about going to an actual yoga studio, where everyone would know what they were doing, and I feared I would just look silly even trying. But I knew some kind of instruction would help, so I paid for a class, and went to sit in the back row as inconspicuously as possible. From walking in the front door, you are greeted by an amazing set of people. I only had one question when I walked in, "what do I do?" I honestly didn't know what else to ask! Lisa explained the basics of it, and then handed me off and introduced me to the session's teacher. Every single one of the teachers at this studio, made me feel immensely comfortable. Every single class I've been to in the past couple of months has been led by teachers that know that every single person in the room has a different level of comfort, and different thresholds for activity. They always take the time to say, "if you're comfortable, try this..." or "at any time, feel free to go back into a comfortable position." So every time I go, I am encouraged to go at my own pace, at my own experience level. Some days I want to push it a little bit, and they freely offer ways to do that. Some days I am feeling sore from something, and so I opt for their easier instructions. But every day, no matter what I do, they keep me feeling good about it. The studio offers different levels, and different teachers. I recommend trying the 1 month unlimited package, so you can freely get a taste for all of it. The All Levels Flow is a great starter, and some of those stretching or gentle classes with relaxation are great ways to get introduced. But even in the more intense and challenging Vinyasa Flow classes, you can find your pace and get out of it what you want. Every teacher has a different style. So if you're on the fence for any reason, whether about this studio, or as I was, about yoga in general, this is an outstanding place to try. I was unsure whether I wanted to find something physical, spiritual, or in between, and Lotus 7 was a great place for me to find what I needed. Andy B. (Rancho Santa Margarita)

12/10/2012 - What a great yoga studio! The view from the studio itself is amazing: blue skies over Saddleback Mountain. No noise pollution. Plenty of light. I love the environment there. That's not even the best part about this place. The instructors are fantastic! Super nice and inclusive. Every instructor I had always provided a fun and challenging yoga experience for all levels. I highly recommend this studio, especially if you are new to yoga. Everyone there is happy to answer questions and help you deepen your practice. Hoda A (Mission Viejo)

12/4/2012 - As a professional tennis player, I often experience aches or pains associated with the intensity of training. In the past, I have spent hundreds of dollars on physical therapy appointments in order to perform without pain. However, this past Fall I purchased a membership to Lotus7 and found that in one yoga session every pain in my body was gone. This has allowed me to train harder on court, run faster and longer during conditioning, and improve my flexibility. Additionally, I have improved my mental toughness and stress level. I have taken classes at countless studios throughout Southern California and Lotus7 is my favorite by far. The classes generally have 6-12 people (which I love because I won't ever bump in to my neighbor). Also, I love that they provide all of the equipment for you (even mats) free of charge. The studio is brand new and includes an adorable boutique and wellness center. Overall, I adore Lotus7 Yoga because every instructor teaches me something new about my yoga practice and how to further enjoy my life! I highly recommend that you give them an opportunity to do the same for you. Roxanne E (Trabuco Canyon)

12/4/2012 - This studio is incredible! The instructors are knowledgeable and know how to spoil their students. The range of classes cater to beginners through advanced students. Each class/instructor is unique and offers a variety of yoga postures and techniques. If you are considering a new membership or want to try yoga for the first time, Lotus 7 is the place to go... Best in OC! Dawn W (Irvine)

5/25/2012 - Absolutely lovely. I have agoraphobia which means I have a lot of trouble going to new places (especially by myself) to do something I have never done before, and I had never done yoga before! Also, I'm rather out of shape and was afraid I'd feel stupid. It took me a while to convince myself that I could do this and that it would be okay. From the moment I screwed up my courage to set foot inside (I'll not mention how long I sat in my car, staring at the door and hyperventilating), I felt welcomed. Lisa, the owner, was so kind and gracious. She could tell I was nervous and she was wonderful at making me feel at ease. She introduced me to the instructor, who immediately set about memorizing my name and was also so very welcoming and kind. When I did things wrong, she was quick to notice and come over to correct me without making me feel silly or stupid. I loved my class and can't wait to go back next week. I went in afraid and unsure, and walked out feeling tall and relaxed and appreciated. Lauren G (Mission Viejo)

5/15/2012 - Terrific studio. Everything you could ask for in the class time, atmosphere , and instructors. I am very happy I found this place! Claudia S (Rancho Santa Margarita)

4/25/2012 - I love this studio! I've been going for a year and everyone is so friendly and great classes! My favorite is Monday night Pilates! I wish they had more pilates classes but LOVE the classes and studio! Suzanne P (Orange County)

4/3/2012 - I have been going to Lotus7 for almost 3 years. I even continued classes up to 8 months of my second pregnancy and they were very mindful to make sure I did not over do it. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly, I think Lisa has called me by name from day one. I also really like how the studio brings in new classes and programs to expand the variety for their Clients. Alyssa G (Rancho Santa Margarita)

4/3/2012 - This is a wonderful yoga studio! The ambiance is great, the owner is super sweet and the classes are led by amazing instructors. There is something for everyone here. All the classes I have been to have been great. Lisa M (Rancho Santa Margarita)

4/3/2012 - Love this studio!!!! I loved all of the instructors and they have a really peaceful atmosphere. Karissa C (Mission Viejo)

3/31/2012 - LOVE this place! I've done Yoga for years, at a number of different studios and gyms, and Lotus 7 is, by far, my favorite. It feels wonderful to walk into such a pretty, soothing and extremely friendly environment. I am always greeted by name and with a smile. The teachers are all excellent and work well with all levels of students. I highly recommend Lotus 7 for yoga classes... absolutely the best studio in the area. Judy A (Trabuco Canyon)

3/24/2012 - Lotus7 is like a home away from home. Walk through the doors, and you are instantly at ease, greeted by a friendly staff who genuinely care about your well being. The small classes are led by experienced instructors, who expertly tailor their classes to the individual, and stress that no two of us are exactly alike. Beginner or long-time Yoga participant will benefit. I highly recommend this studio as the perfect antidote from the stresses of everyday living. Venture into Lotus 7. You will not be disappointed!! Elaine P (Coto de Caza)

3/23/2012 - This is a great studio. I've been going for years. It is consistently clean and has great instructors. It is non-threatening for those who are just getting into yoga. The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant. If you are near Rancho and want to try yoga or pilates I would definitely recommend giving Lotus 7 a try. Matt F(Rancho Santa Margarita)

1/20/2012 - I've never tried Yoga or Pilates and I have to say they have a great studio and great instructors. The owner/staff gets to know you and remembers you by name. I really like this place a lot. Kevin A (Mission Viejo)

11/9/2011 - I really love this place! I am a newbie but I can tell that the level of care and knowledge that I have received in class is top notch. I really enjoy the Vinyasa class on Tuesday and Friday evenings - the instructor's easy going style, aromatherapy and music all do wonders for my sense of relaxation and accomplishment I get from doing yoga. The people who work here all have such a friendly attitude that it just makes coming to class that much better! All in all, if you live or work any where near here, take advantage of it's wonderful instructors, great staff and relaxing atmosphere! Laura M (Fullerton)

8/4/2011 - This place is amazing. The instructors are all highly-skilled and thorough. They'll help you individually without making you feel dumb, too. The pilates class definitely kicks your butt, it's a great work out. I've taken all of the classes that they offer and truly enjoy all of the instructors. The vinyasa flow class along with the other yoga classes are not only a good workout but SO therapeutic and stress-relieving. Its as if they know how terrible your day has been and exactly the right words to guide you through. Their classes in itself are probably one of the healthiest things I've done for myself in a while. If you're looking for a yoga studio in RSM, go to this one. Kimberly J (Orange County)
